Jones currently serves as the assistant principal of Love Elementary School, a role she has held since 2021 when she joined the district, according to a Northwest ISD news release. Prior to working in Northwest ISD, Jones spent six years at Keller ISD, including three years as an assistant principal and one year as an assistant administrator. After Keller ISD, Jones spent two years as the lower school division head—the equivalent of an assistant principal—at All Saints Episcopal School of Fort Worth.

According to the news release, prior to her time in administration, she served as an elementary teacher in both Keller ISD and Mansfield ISD. She has also served as a teacher trainer, providing new and veteran educators with guidance and support as they begin their careers or learn new skills.

According to the news release, Jones earned her master’s degree in educational leadership from Texas Christian University and her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas. In addition to her teaching and principal certifications, Jones holds a certification in Texas Reading Academies.
