HG SPLY CO in Alliance Town Center will reopen its doors after an unexpected fire temporarily forced the restaurant to shut down.

The details

HG SPLY CO had been open for less than a week before a fire on Nov. 15 started inside, causing damage.

Now HG SPLY CO will reopen at 4 p.m. on Dec. 4 after completing repairs.

"We've taken 'fired up' to a whole new level," a social media post from Dec. 3 read. "HG Alliance is back and ready to serve you!"

The backstory

Kyle Clay of the Fort Worth Fire Department said the fire was accidental and started in the chimney.

“At the time of the fire, there were 40-50 staff members and 35 diners inside the building,” Clay said Nov. 15.

HG SPLY CO, a restaurant concept owned by Dallas-based UNCO, focuses on offering a health-driven menu and serves minimally processed food, according to its website.
