Unrefined Bakery, a local bakery offering a variety of gluten-free treats, is expanding throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Mother-and-daughter team Anne Hoyt and Taylor Nicholson opened their second location, which is in Frisco, in September 2013. In that same year they opened their third location on Greenville Avenue in Dallas. They opened two more locations in 2015 in Rockwall and at Preston Center in Dallas. There are plans to open a new store in 2016 outside of Dallas.
“The more places we go, the more people realize how much better they feel when they eat gluten-free and organic,” Nicholson said. “People have been very receptive and responsive and are excited that we’re coming where they are.”
In November, the Frisco location added sandwiches to the menu.
