American Airlines announced the addition of new flights from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport in 2025.

The Fort Worth-based airline will add flights to Asia, Spain and Mexico. On March 5, 2025, American Airlines will add a flight to Gen. Francisco Javier Mina International Airport in Tampico, Mexico. The flights will be operated under the American Eagle regional brand, according to a news release.

A closer look

American will add three daily flights to Asia starting in the summer of 2025, but the exact dates have not been announced, per the news release.




There will be two flights to Tokyo—Tokyo International Airport and Narita International Airport. An additional flight will be added to Shanghai Pudong International Airport in Shanghai, China.

The flights will be on Boeing 787 or 777 planes, according to the release.

What else?

American Airlines will start daily service to Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport in Barcelona, Spain. A Boeing 777 will be used for the flights, which start on March 30, 2025.
