Various intersections on northbound and southbound SH 26 will have single-lane closures from April 9-17, a Texas Department of Transportation news release announced. The section of SH 26 from John McCain Road to Brown Trail will be reduced to two lanes from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. during this time. If weather permits, crews will be working on traffic signal adjustments.

Once this work is complete, all lanes in the project area will be open to motorists, the news release said. Crews will move into the completion phase of the projects, and future closures may take place throughout the project limits as TxDOT wraps up work.

The project is estimated to be finished this spring.
