Stacy Pacholick has been hired as Grace’s interim executive director, filling in the spot left by the departure of Shonda Schaefer on June 1. Jamé Scott is serving as the interim chief program officer, while Pacholick fills the interim executive role.

The background

Grace is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides food, clothing, financial assistance and other vital necessities to Grapevine and northeast Tarrant County. It operates a food pantry and community clinic, provides emergency assistance and transitional housing, and hosts several seasonal programs, such as its summer feeding program and Christmas Cottage.

Zooming in

Pacholick started at Grace as the director of programming, overseeing programs such as client services, clinics, the food pantry, transitional housing and seasonal events.

She also worked for The Parenting Center in Fort Worth from 2003-10 and then The Salvation Army in Kansas City from 2010-13 before returning to Texas to work for Grace.

Quote of note

“I filled in many times as the CEO [due to vacations], so I’m fortunate to have the experience,” Pacholick said. “I’m happy to keep up with the daily happenings and moving forward to reach all the people we reach until we find someone to fill that job permanently.”
