Grapevine-Colleyville ISD registration is now open for the 2025-26 school year, according to an update from the district.

The details

The district requests that parents enroll their students before May 16 to ensure a smooth transition into the next school year.

According to the update, the earlier parents register, the better the district can plan since campuses are staffed based on registration numbers. Families can register all year long but by registering before the May 16 deadline, it ensures the district can avoid last-minute hiring or staff relocations when the school year begins.

GCISD officials ask that parents use the following platforms for registration:Additional information

Transfer students can also register for the 2025-26 school year for the following groups:
  • Elementary STEM transfer requests, which will close April 21
  • Kindergarten-12th graders living within the boundaries of Grapevine or Colleyville, but outside the boundaries of GCISD
  • Students of city employees in Grapevine or Colleyville
  • Non-residential students in kindergarten-12th grade living outside the boundaries of GCISD, but have a grandparent who resides in GCISD boundaries
  • Children of GCISD employees
The district updated its transfer policy Feb. 24 in order to mitigate issues with predicting school enrollment due to transfer students and avoiding last minute-staffing placements or hiring in August, according to district documents. The policy goes into effect for the 2025-26 school year.
