The Carroll ISD board of trustees voted to cancel its Nov. 3 election due to all candidates running unopposed.
Board trustee Place 1, Place 2 and Place 3 were up for reelection but were uncontested at the end of the qualifying period with no write-in candidates declaring intention to be on the ballot, according to the district.
What it means
All three board positions will continue to be held by the trustees currently in those roles. The CISD board consists of seven members who are elected for three-year terms.
Place 1 will continue to be held by Christy Stacy, who was originally elected in 2023.
