Registration for new and returning students and those students that ride buses is open in Grapevine-Colleyville ISD for the 2024-25 school year.

The details

According to a district news release, district officials are encouraging parents or guardians to register their new or returning students by May 17 so that the district can use those enrollment numbers to help plan for the 2024-25 school year. The district will accept student registration up until the first day of school.

For bilingual families needing assistance with student registration, the bilingual services department is hosting a Parent University event from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on May 2. The event will be held at the district’s professional development and education center, located at 5800 Colleyville Blvd. in Colleyville.

Bus ridership registration opened on April 29 and is available through the district's transportation webpage, according to a district news release.

The news release states that bus stop information will only be available through the district’s SMART Tag system. The district installed the SMART Tag system March 4 as a way for users to receive real-time updates from students riding the bus and can alert bus drivers if a student is exiting at the wrong stop or attempting to board the wrong bus.

In case you missed it

The SMART Tag app is available in both the Apple IOS store and Google Play, according to the news release.
