According to paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, Smoothie King and Peach Cobbler Factory is coming to Terminal D.
The owner listed is Ray Mickens, a Texas A&M standout who played in the National Football League from 1996 to 2007 with three teams.
Mickens owns Westlake-based Mickens, Inc. and M2 Concepts, an airport food, beverage and retail company. He runs M2 Concepts with his brother, Leonard, according to the company website.
Smoothie King's website states the menu categories range from "get fit" and "be well" smoothies to smoothie bowls.
Peach Cobbler Factory will sell cobblers, brownies, Belgian waffles, churro sticks with dipping sauce, cookies and cinnamon rolls, according to its website.

Work is slated to start on March 24 with an estimated completion date of August 22, according to online documents.
The double-business setup will move into a former location of Pinkberry Frozen Yogurt, which was located on Gate D12. The TDLR filing listed the $65,000 work to include a new counter, new paint and new lights.
