Chelsea Rose is stepping down from her role as CEO and president of the Colleyville Chamber of Commerce.

This decision comes as Rose accepted a new position with the city of Colleyville, according to a statement from the chamber.

“I’m really excited to still be with our business leaders here and to continue to make Colleyville a great place to do business,” she said.

Rose became leader of the chamber in April 2020. She formerly worked as the director of community engagement for the Catholic Charities of Oklahoma City. Before her time in Oklahoma, Rose lived in the area and worked for Grapevine Relief and Community Exchange.

“We are grateful for the leadership Chelsea has provided for the past three years and look forward to seeing her next accomplishments," Board Chair Mark Alphonso said in the statement.

Rose will remain in her position until May 5. A new leader will be found through a search committee formed by the chamber’s board of directors.

“This has been an incredible community, and I’m so blessed and honored that my next step is staying in this community," Rose said.
