III Forks Prime Steakhouse relocated from Dallas to 1303 Legacy Drive, Frisco, and reopened Sept. 15. The steakhouse serves steak, lobster, seafood and wine and can accommodate intimate parties, special occasion dining, large social gatherings and business meetings.

Staycation Coffee is expected to open in November at 201 S. Texas St., Richardson. The business will offer a full coffee menu and a small selection of curated toast options in a modern, open setting. A backyard event space will host activities, such as small concerts and community movie nights.

Avalanche Dessert Lounge confirmed the store plans to permanently close Sept. 26, saying business has been tough since April with the COVID-19 pandemic. In the meantime, the dessert lounge will continue to operate at its regular hours and will offer funnel cakes with a variety of toppings, milkshakes with cake slices or cookies on top, tableside s’mores and ice cream sandwiches made from doughnuts.
