On June 11, San Francisco-based Gymboree Corp. filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. As a result of the bankruptcy, the retailer is closing 350 stores, including three in Plano and one in Southlake.

Gymboree Corp. has three brands: Gymboree, Janie and Jack, and Crazy 8. The company said a majority of the closures would be Gymboree and Crazy 8 stores.
