The project includes widening the four-lane road to a six-lane road, according to Frisco’s capital improvement projects database.
This portion of the project will be completed by the end of the year and will cost $5.9 million.
Construction along Panther Creek Parkway will not end at Dallas Parkway. The divided highway project will expand east from Dallas Parkway to Preston Road, but that portion is currently in the design phase. This portion of the project will construct a new portion of Panther Creek Parkway.
Bids on the Dallas Parkway to Preston Road work will happen this year with construction estimated to be completed by the end of 2025.
