A 300-unit luxury apartment complex at Frisco Station is on track for completion by early 2024.

The Casey at Frisco Station will offer one- and two-bedroom units at 4250 Gridiron Road, directly north of The Star in Frisco, a news release stated. Available housing at the development by companies Hillwood and JHP Architecture/Urban Design include units ranging from 513-1,375 square feet.

Amenities within the apartment homes will include smart home technology for app-based control of locks, thermostats, lighting and entertainment, according to the release. In addition, each unit will feature 10-foot ceilings, stainless steel appliances, two-tone cabinetries, walk-in closets and private patios. Some units will include built-in desks, studies, urban mudrooms and butler pantries.

Mark McHenry, managing director of Hillwood Multifamily, said residents are looking for housing options that accommodate work-from-home solutions, a “robust” technology infrastructure and recreational amenities.

“The Casey was designed with Frisco Station’s ‘smart, creative and healthy’ pillars in mind, providing an environment that integrates residents with surrounding recreational and entertainment options in a community with the latest advancements in smart home technology and high-speed bandwidth,” McHenry said in the release.

Frisco Station developers are aiming to offer a total of 2,400 residential units to pair with a 30-acre programmed park system and a 55-acre corporate campus, the release stated.

Preleasing at The Casey is set to begin in spring 2023, and the first units will be available in fall 2023.
