Held in Room 130 at the University of North Texas’ Frisco Landing campus, located at 12995 Preston Road, the annual two-day work session offers council members to discuss upcoming city projects and what issues will most affect Frisco in the coming year.
On the agenda
The first day of meetings will begin Jan. 18 at 8 a.m. and cover a wide range of topics, including:
- A discussion on innovation
- Grand Park
- Growth and development in Frisco
- Reviewing the top 10 priorities of 2023
What else?
The second day of meetings will be held in the same Frisco Landing location Jan. 19 at 9 a.m. and is expected to begin with a closed session council meeting.
Once council members reconvene, they are expected to discuss:
- A report from Theater Projects Consultants Inc. regarding a Frisco Arts Complex
- Key topics identified from the Jan. 18 session
- What top 10 priorities should be set for 2024
- Takeaways from the overall work session
Also of note
Council members are also expected to hold a citizen input-only meeting at 5:05 p.m. Jan. 18 in council’s chambers located at 6101 Frisco Square Blvd.
