Unofficial election results on May 1 show incumbent René Archambault defeated challenger Evelyn Brooks by 58% to 42% in the Frisco ISD Place 7 board of trustees race.

Archambault has served on the school board since 2018. She has worked in higher education at Southern Methodist University for over 17 years as a graduate admissions and marketing officer. Brooks has 23 years of classroom teaching and youth development experience, serving as an elementary teacher and earning teaching certifications in four states.


School board member John Classe ran unopposed for Place 6 and will be elected to another term.
