All students, faculty, staff and visitors must wear a mask at all University of North Texas campuses, including two Frisco locations at Hall Park and Inspire Park, according to university officials.
UNT President Neal Smatresk announced the mask requirement in a message to the university community June 25, which is also the requirement's effective date.
"Please encourage those who aren’t meeting our expectations for safety, including wearing masks, staying socially distanced, and being considerate of those around them to help," Smatresk said in the message. "Keeping our community healthy is everyone’s job."
As UNT prepares for a limited return to in-person instruction, information over reopening and safety plans will be released in the coming days and weeks, Smatresk said.
