Denton County Public Health confirmed one new case of COVID-19 in Frisco on April 29.

That brings the city's total to 135 confirmed cases, though 103 Frisco residents have recovered. Of the total cases in the city, 81 are from Collin County, and 54 are from Denton County.

Collin County health officials confirmed a total of 18 new cases of COVID-19 on April 29, though none in Frisco. With the new cases, the county's total is now 710 confirmed cases. So far, 487 Collin County residents have recovered from the virus, and 20 have died, according to health officials. There are currently 204 active cases in the county.

Denton County Public Health announced April 29 that an additional 10 cases of coronavirus had been confirmed locally, bringing the county’s total to 748. Of those, 363 residents who were diagnosed with the virus have recovered, 365 cases remain active and 20 residents have died due to coronavirus-related reasons, according to public health officials.
