American Airlines to debut nonstop flights to Italy from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport
American Airlines will start daily service to Venice, Italy, on June 5. The Fort Worth-based airline will offer its first nonstop flight from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport to Venice Marco Polo Airport. It is one of four flights American Airlines will offer with destinations to Rome and Naples from three other airports.
349-unit luxury apartments, townhomes coming to Argyle in 2026
The new community, Harvest House, was developed by Hillwood, a commercial and residential real estate developer, and will be located at the northeast corner of I-35W and FM 407. It features 259 upscale apartments and 90 townhomes with private yards.
Retail, hotel, more planned for mixed-use project along US 380 bypass alignment in McKinney
A mixed-use project featuring 135,000 square feet of retail space and 1,500 multifamily units could be developed in north McKinney along the planned route of the US 380 bypass. The development would also feature a hotel, six-story office buildings and various outdoor amenities on a 146-acre site that is also adjacent to the existing US 75. The project, dubbed McKinney Northgate, is a proposal by Dallas-based real estate firm Creation Equity.
Kaleidoscope Park could see $14M expansion
The expansion is proposed to include enhanced amenities and is expected to be a catalyst for economic development. The updates to the park include an interactive water feature, an outdoor video screen and a stage. The project agreement also includes a 1,100-space public parking garage, with 100 spaces reserved for park visitors.
Elissa Brown announced as Cottonwood Art Festival feature artist
Kansas City-based artist Elissa Brown will be the featured artist for the spring iteration of Richardson’s Cottonwood Arts Festival. Brown is a Texas native who produces work under the name The Freckled Army, inspired by her grandmother’s experiences with bullying.
