With all districts reporting, Janvier Werner was elected to the Place 4 seat in Flower Mound, receiving 51.83% of the vote, with challenger Rob Rawson receiving the second-most percentage of votes with 22.61%. Barbara Barrios was third with 19.52% and Justin DeFillippo was fourth with 6.03%.

Flower Mound has released early voting totals for an election related to the Place 4 race.

What you need to know

Four people are running for the seat to fill that of Jim Engel, who has termed out and can't seek a third term. They are Barbara Barrios, Justin DeFillippo, Rob Rawson and Janvier Werner, with Werner leading with 3,137 votes. Among the other candidates, Rawson is second with 1,315 votes, and Barrios has 1,133 votes and DeFillippo has 343 votes. Terms are three years. What else?

In early voting, there were 42,141 ballots cast countywide in Denton County, which represents 6.5% of the area's 641,470 voters. In Tarrant County, those numbers were 56,491 votes cast among 1,276,106 voters, or 4.4%.

Totals from ballots cast May 4 have yet to be released. Polls closed at 7 p.m., although voters who were in line at 7 p.m. were still able to cast ballots.
