Cedar Park, Leander city offices to close Memorial Day; no city pools to open for holiday weekend

The cities of Cedar Park and Leander will close city offices May 25 to observe Memorial Day. All cities’ offices will reopen May 26.

Williamson County offices are also closed May 25, but the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter will remain open for adoptions by appointment.

Cedar Park

• City offices will be closed May 25 and reopen May 26.
• Cedar Park Public Library will not open May 25 and will resume modified services and limited occupancy May 26.
• The city’s three public pools will not open for the holiday weekend.
• City trash and recycling services will continue as scheduled.

Leander

• City offices will be closed May 25 and reopen May 26.
• The public pool at Robin Bledsoe Park will not open for the holiday weekend, and the city has not determined the pool’s opening dates.
• Regular garbage and recycling pickup will continue as normal May 25, and utility customers can still use the drop-off box for payments.
