Williamson County offices will be closed May 25 for the Memorial Day holiday, according to a May 19 news release.

All county operations will resume regular hours and remote work May 26; however, the Commissioners Court will not meet for its regular Tuesday meeting May 26, it said.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter will remain open for adoption on an appointment basis only. The shelter will be open May 23-24 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m., and noon-6 p.m. on May 25. To make an appointment, call 512-943-3322.

In honor of Memorial Day, from May 22-25, the shelter will have a $25 adoption special for all adult cats and large dogs.
