Sun Kissed Classics, an automotive shop known for breathing new life into vintage rides, is revving its engines for a move toward Elgin.
Plans are underway to relocate the business from 720 Bell Springs Road in Dripping Springs by mid-2026.
The backstory
Owners Colton Danforth and Philip Bros met a few years ago when the pair were trying to negotiate a deal around a 1957 Buick Special.
Although Bros, who lived in Germany at the time, wanted to export the vehicle overseas, Danforth thought the deal “sounded sketchy” and ultimately sold the Special to another buyer.
Bros told Community Impact he eventually coaxed Danforth into getting “over his fear of web-based payment methods,” paving the way for a partnership that quickly took off.
