There’s something for everyone this weekend in the Austin area, including the Round Rock Public Library’s murder mystery fundraiser, a two-day market in Bastrop and the Austin Pride Parade and Festival. Here are six events for locals to attend from Aug. 21-23.

“The Golden Girls” Kitchen
From Atlanta to Austin, Disney Entertainment and Bucket Listers are opening a pop-up restaurant that will serve up breakfast, lunch, desserts and drinks with nods to the show’s characters and storylines. Tickets will include a welcome drink and 90-minute seating.
As the Knife Twists: a Mystery Night Fundraiser
The Friends of the Round Rock Public Library’s murder mystery night is a fundraiser supporting the library’s Bookmobile and community outreach programs. The event relies on the audience to work together to uncover clues, interrogate characters and solve the crime.
‘And Then There Were None’
Taking place at the Doug Smith Performance Center, the Georgetown Palace Theatre will put on a production of the play based on Agatha Christie’s 1939 novel. It follows 10 strangers who are summoned to a remote island, and one by one are murdered.

Austin Pride Parade & Festival
The all-day celebration will feature live music and entertainment, local vendors, a parade and more. The parade typically takes place on Congress Avenue, ending in the Warehouse district.
Puppy Plunge
Puppies and people can head to Founders Memorial Pool for a canine plunge. Dogs of all ages and breeds are welcome; one dog per handler is required and owners must provide proof of rabies vaccination for pets. The event marks the closing of Founders Memorial Pool for the season.
