Family-owned pizza restaurant, Baldinucci Pizza Romana, is now open at its new location in Domain Northside, according to a news release. Owned and operated by Salvatore Baldinucci, Patricia Baldinucci and Gabriel Baldinucci, the Italian spot debuted its second location in Austin after launching in October 2022 in West Lake Hills.
“We’ve always believed pizza is about bringing people together,” Gabriel Baldinucci, co-owner of Baldinucci Pizza Romana, said in a news release. “The response from the community has been incredible, and this next step in our growth allows us to keep [sharing] our core values of family, tradition and connection with more people in Austin.”
On the menu
Patrons can grab pizza by the slice, including options like margherita, sausage and honey, chicken parmesan and fig and arugula.
Baldinucci Pizza Romana also offers salad house, caesar and greek salads, New York hero sandwiches and small dishes, including meatball parmigiana. For dessert, customers can find New York cheesecake with a strawberry compote, limoncello mascarpone cake, and cannolis.
What’s special about it?
The Italian restaurant prioritizes high quality ingredients with traditional cooking methods, according to the pizza spot’s website.
Baldinucci Pizza Romana crafts two versions of its dough: a New York style and a Roman style. For the dough, the restaurant uses imported Italian flour, pure extra virgin olive oil, premium mozzarella and fresh toppings.
What’s next
Baldinucci’s Westlake Hills location is currently closed for renovations, according to an Instagram post. The restaurant is slated to reopen in November with expanded seating options.
