From Fox 7 Weather Chief Meteorologist Scott Fisher:
High pressure has taken up residence over Central Texas, and things are suddenly hot and sticky.
After a record rainfall early in the month, things have really dried up. Temps will be well above normal for the next few days and just a bit cooler as we head into the weekend with a stray shower or two by Sunday.
There certainly will be storms at some point this spring, and it is important to remember this is severe weather season. Many thunderstorms may produce not only heavy rain but also high winds, hail and possibly a tornado. Stay weather aware!
