Five new tenants will soon take up residence in the recently renovated Oak Hill Plaza, located at the Y at Oak Hill in Southwest Austin, according to the project's developer, BBD Commercial. As previously reported by Community Impact Newspaper, Slab BBQ and Pluckers Wing Bar are slated for the development as well as luxury dog boarding facility D Pet Hotels, EurAsia Sushi Bar & Seafood, and family entertainment center Epic Fun. The plaza underwent several renovations before tenant deals were announced, including a complete remodel of the facade, repainting of the exterior, the installment of a marquee restaurant end cap and patio, resurfacing and repainting of the parking lot, and new lighting and landscaping as well as a new copper roof and refinished sign. "We're thrilled about our new tenants at Oak Hill Plaza," said Tim Jarvis, developer with BBD Commercial, in a statement. "We feel we have an excellent mix of restaurants and community-focused businesses. We renovated the facility and signed these tenants with the neighborhood in mind, and we think each of these establishments will be a great fit for the Southwest Austin community." The interiors of the facilities, which range from 3,000-27,000 square feet, will undergo renovations before opening. With the announcement of the new tenants, only 10 percent of the development's space remains unleased. According to the statement, BBD Commercial will continue to "selectively target a handful of businesses the company believes would serve the community and shopping center well." Opening dates for the new tenants have not been announced.
