Austin Bouldering Project opened a new location in the Westgate Shopping Center Oct. 17. The space at 4477 S. Lamar Blvd., Ste. 600, Austin, offers climbing, training and yoga.
This is the second location for the gym, with its first location at 979 Springdale Road, Austin.
About 3 miles southwest of the new climbing location, national studio chain Pure Barre launched its newest Austin studio off MoPac at Arbor Trails in October. Local owner Lisa O’Neill said her studio hosts strength-, cardio- and flexibility-based programming through scheduled classes for members.
New customers at the space at 4301 W. William Cannon Drive, Ste. B114, Austin, can try their first class for free, according to the Southwest Austin location’s website.
