Since June 3, Austin Public Health has reported 145 new coronavirus cases across Travis County, according to the June 7 update by the department.

There have been 97 total coronavirus-related deaths in the county, and 3,697 total cases since March 13. The county has also had an estimated 3,071 recoveries, bringing active cases to about 529.

There are 87 current hospitalizations in the Austin metropolitan area.

According to the Texas Department of State Health Services, Travis County had tested an estimated 37,569 individuals as of June 3, the most recent data available.

As of the state’s June 7 date, there have been 74,978 confirmed cases in the state, while 1,830 individuals have died. There are an estimated 23,390 active cases in the state.
