Barton Creek Square is an indoor mall located at 2901 S. Capital of Texas Hwy., Austin. Here are six businesses in the works to join the shopping center this year.

Man Outfitters

Man Outfitters is expected to open in Barton Creek Square in mid-October, directly across from the Apple Store in the lower-level Dillard’s wing of the mall, according to a spokesperson with the store. Man Outfitters is an Austin-based company that launched in 2015 online, offering active and outdoor apparel from different brands, including The North Face, Billabong and Quicksilver.

Popeye's Chicken

Popeye’s Chicken will open in October in the upper-level food court of Barton Creek Square. Popeye’s is a fast-casual restaurant that offers fried chicken, biscuits, chicken fingers and french fries.


Anthropologie will open in the fall in Barton Creek Square, according to a spokesperson with Simon Malls, the company behind Barton Creek Square. Anthropologie offers women's clothing, jewelry, home decor and gifts. The retailer first opened in 1992 and is part of URBN, which owns other brands such as Urban Outfitters and Free People.

Tradehome Shoes

Tradehome Shoes will open in the fall, a spokesperson with Simon Malls said. Tradehome is a footwear chain that was founded in 1921 and offers shoes for men, women and children. Brands sold at Tradehome include Dr. Martens, HOKA and Birkenstock.


Casper will open in the fall, the Simon Malls spokesperson said, and will be located in the lower-level Nordstorm wing next to Earthbound Trading Co. Casper is a mattress store offering sleep products, including mattresses, pillows and bedding.

Green Biotics

Green Biotics will open in the winter, the Simon Malls spokesperson said. Green Biotics offers wellness products, such as vitamins, tea extracts, coffee and derma care.
