Gathering For Good

The philanthropic branch of United Way of Greater Austin, Women United, will host a luncheon with all proceeds benefiting the nonprofit organization’s mission to support underserved families in the area.

Fiesta Austin Cinco De Mayo

With a focus on celebrating Hispanic heritage, attendees can partake in cultural dancing, live music, games, a kids zone and more. Over 40 vendors will be in attendance with wares and food.

Blue Genie Art Bazaar May Market

The Amazing Acro-Cats



Benefiting Street Cat Rescue out of Round Rock, the 90-minute show features trained house cats—all rescues—showing off their skills through a variety of feats such as skateboarding, jumping through hoops and more. The finale will feature an all-cat rock band, followed by a meet and greet.

H-E-B Austin Sunshine Run

Sponsored by H-E-B, proceeds from the family- and pet-friendly run will go to Austin Sunshine Camps, which works to help underserved youth in the area. Participants can register for a 5K, 10K, Kids K or Fastest Dog run. Food, drinks and music will be available after the event.

Austin LuLu Fest

In its eighth year, Austin LuLu Fest celebrates women-led bands, including those who are well-established and newcomers to the music scene. Created to follow in the footsteps of the nonprofit Ritenuto Foundation’s Wall Street Jazz Festival, LuLu Fest includes genres such as jazz, Latin and Western swing.

Mother’s Day at the Capitol

The Austin Symphonic Band will host a Mother’s Day concert at the south steps of the State Capitol. The music will feature a range of genres from marches to theatrical to original arrangements.

Affordable Art Fair



With more than 55 galleries, the Affordable Art Fair will present modern pieces by artists worldwide with prices ranging from $100-$10,000. Local art nonprofit Big Medium will be on site with media by Texas artists.

CelebrAsia Austin 2024

The family-friendly event will feature Asian-American-focused live music, dance performances, exhibits and more, with food vendors and other activities. Due to occupancy limitations, attendees are encouraged to RSVP on Eventbrite.

Texas Burlesque Festival

Designed for guests age 18 and older, the two-day festival will feature more than 40 entertainers showcasing classic burlesque, cabaret, vaudeville and pop culture-inspired performances. American Sign Language interpreters will be present each night.
