Texas-based grocer H-E-B announced a new Austin store Nov. 27, slated to open in late 2027.

The details

The store will be located at McKinney Falls Parkway and William Cannon, according to a news release by the company. An exact address was not announced.

Planning for the new store is still underway, and construction is slated to start next year, per the release.

What else?

As part of the company's investments in Austin, H-E-B officials donated $1 million to housing nonprofit Austin Habitat for Humanity, which will support two affordable housing projects under construction in East Austin—Persimmon Point, near the new store—and Whisper Valley, just south of H-E-B’s Manor store, which is expected to open late 2025, per the news release.

As we look for ways to serve even more Texans, we also remain committed to support those in need and uplift our communities where we operate and beyond.”
