The downtown small-format location of Target, located at 101 Concho St., Ste. 200, San Marcos, will hold its grand opening event during store hours Aug. 16. The small-format location is one of more than 120 for Target. A press release from the company states the format is ideal for “urban areas, dense suburban neighborhoods and near college campuses – places where a full-size Target store may not fit.” The store sells apparel and accessories, Texas State University fan merchandise, home decor, personal care and beauty products, and more.
