May 6: Go to a tea party
The San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department will host a "Mini & Me" morning tea for girls and influential women in their lives.

The San Marcos' "Party in Your Park" event happens four times a year at a different neighborhood park and will take place at Franklin Square Park this May. There will be yard games, live music, drinks and more.

The San Marcos Discovery Center will host an interactive, family-friendly festival called "Water: Sustaining Bird Life." The event will have games, music and activities like a migratory bird obstacle course, all in an effort to promote education surrounding birds and bird migration.
