With the new public safety complex, the new municipality complex and the new public library nearing completion, the city of Buda is looking for ways to use the current City Hall, the City Hall annex and the current library.

On March 28 the city sent a request for proposals to the community, asking for suggestions of how the old buildings should be used. The current public library is being considered as a new facility for the tourism and Main Street Program departments along with a space for community groups to gather.

Citizens have until June 15 at noon to submit proposals to the city and can find the submission forms at www.ci.buda.tx.us/137/purchasing.
