Bazaar, a new cocktail bar and restaurant, will hold its grand opening April 25.

The bar is open on North LBJ Drive above Axis in what was previously Diversions Game Room.

The Moroccan-inspired bar held a soft opening in March with limited hours and a reduced food menu. Owner Omar Dawoud called the menu "elevated bar food with a Mediterranean twist" with an affordable price. He wants Bazaar to be a one-stop shop for downtown entertainment.

"Saturday afternoon, you wanna watch the games and have a nice brunch with your friend, you know, we're a great spot for that," Dawoud said. "If you want to come in for a date night and have a boozy dinner with us, we're a great spot for that. You want to come in for lunch with your family who's visiting in town, we're a great place for that as well. And you know, we also want to be the place to go to dance at night [and] enjoy some great cocktails."

Dawoud grew up in San Marcos and also owns The Marc nightclub. Bazaar is 21 and up, and its current hours are 5 p.m. to late, according to its website.
