The Tiemann Art Gallery and frame shop at 1706 N. Mays St., Round Rock, is seeking a new owner, according to a March 31 announcement. Those interested should contact owner Carrie Tiemann, who said in the announcement that she is looking to maintain the frame shop inside the gallery but is open to other causes sharing the space under a new owner.
"If sharing the space, I’m looking for worthy causes to use the space and the funds, skills, time, experience and other resources to work for those worthy causes," Tiemann said in the announcement.
Previously, the gallery has been used to host art displays and shows, a library, concerts, student recitals, lectures, meetings, birthday parties, art lessons, dramatic readings and artist demos. Tiemann suggested the space not occupied by the frame shop could suit other retail purposes. Tiemann stated she must make a decision by April 30, and interested parties can reach her at the gallery by calling 512-551-9774.
