A free jazz concert will be held at The Windmill at Yonders Point in Old Settlers Park on April 26. Hosted by the city’s Parks and Recreation Department, this family-friendly event will be the first of a two-part series.

The New Orleans-themed event, scheduled from 6-9 p.m., will feature the Boss Street Brass Band, offering attendees the opportunity to enjoy some music while catching the sunset over Bright Lake.

Sponsor Texas Beer Co. will be serving adult beverages on-site, and Cajun food trucks will also be parked nearby to provide a full immersive experience.

There will also be a petting zoo and face painting stations available for children.
