Residents of Pflugerville ISD cast ballots in races for a proposition to fund raises for teachers and staff in the Nov. 7 election.

Early voting and Election Day information for both counties were reported after 7 p.m. and 11 p.m., respectively, representing ballots cast Oct. 23-Nov. 3 and on Nov. 7.

The specifics


Proposition A would allow trustees to award 3% increases to eligible district employees if the district's voter-approval tax rate election has a favorable outcome. The increases will be funded by a $0.07 addition to the tax rate.

"This is what's needed to get us back ... to being competitive with our salaries," Place 2 Trustee Tony Hanson previously said of the initiative.

Of early votes cast in both Williamson and Travis counties, 62.85% of ballots submitted were in favor of the initiative, with 37.15% against.
