​The Round Rock Police Department has announced the reopening and continued closure of several streets as inclement weather and ice accumulation pose a risk to drivers as of 10:25 a.m. Feb. 2:
  • All flyovers connecting I-35 and SH 45
  • Eastbound RM 620 at Chisholm Trail Road
  • Memorial Park low water crossing


The winter storm warning issued by the National Weather Service Jan. 30 that was extended to Feb. 2 expired at 10 a.m. Additional streets have been reopened, according to the department, although residents of effected counties, including Williamson and Travis counties, are still cautioned by the NWS to be alert for falling ice and existing ice accumulations as they begin to melt:
  • SH 45 westbound exit for Greenlawn Boulevard
  • SH 45 eastbound exit for La Frontera
  • Northbound I-35 exit for RM 620
