Round Rock, Pflugerville and Hutto ISDs announced Jan. 10 all classes would be canceled on Monday, Jan. 11 due to inclement weather. Both school campuses and administrative offices will be closed to the public, and virtual learning classes will not be held.

As part of its notice, Round Rock ISD cited two bad weather days have been incorporated into the 2020-21 academic year calendar. Campuses are not required to make up lost instruction due to the snow day.

Pflugerville ISD attributed its cancellation to hazardous road conditions and freezing temperature during the morning commute. In addition to classes, all activities have been canceled on Jan. 11. Classes are expected to resume under normal conditions on Tuesday, Jan. 12.

As part of its cancellation announcement, Hutto ISD also noted potentially dangerous road conditions as reason for its snow day. All ISD activities are canceled alongside classes.

Additional school cancellation updates, if warranted, will be posted on Round Rock, Pflugerville and Hutto ISDs' respective websites.
