Spring break dates for Round Rock ISD's 2023-24 school year have been shifted forward by one week.
The RRISD board of trustees approved the change by consent, meaning the change was approved in conjunction with other budget items. Spring break dates were previously set for March 11-15 and will now be moved to March 18-23 to be aligned with The University of Texas at Austin and Austin Community College calendars.
This is a regular adjustment to the district calendar, as calendars for these institutions were not yet set when the board approved its calendar in February 2022, according to district documents.
