Hiking trails
1. Freeman Park. 301 Forest Ridge Blvd., Round Rock. The park is the trailhead for the Brushy Creek Regional Trail, which is more than 10 miles long. The park also includes a playscape and horseshoe pits.
2. Fritz Park. 400 Park St., Hutto. The park includes a playscape, basketball and sand volleyball courts, horseshoe pits and a trail.
3. Memorial Park. 600 N. Lee St., Round Rock. The park includes a trail that runs alongside Brushy Creek and the "round rock."
4. Northeast Metropolitan Park. 2703 E. Pecan St., Pflugerville. The park includes a 2-mile concrete trail, soccer fields, multiuse fields, basketball fields, a cricket field, a basketball court, a tennis court, a BMX racetrack, a skate park, playgrounds and a splash pad.
5. Pfluger Park. 515 City Park Road, Pflugerville. The 30-acre park includes hike and bike trail loops around the park and Gilleland Creek. Other park features include a playground area and basketball and sand volleyball courts.
Playscapes
1. Buck Egger Park. 900 S. Mays St., Round Rock. The park includes a playscape, swings and an artificial turf football practice field.
2. Cambridge Heights Park. 17500 Marfa Lights Trail, Pflugerville. The park includes a covered playscape and trail.
3. Chisholm Valley Park. 1201 Trey, Round Rock. The park includes a playscape, a trail and practice fields.
4. Creekside Park. 305 Orchard Way, Hutto. The park includes a playscape, practice fields and a trail.
5. Heritage Park. 901 Old Austin-Hutto Road, Pflugerville. The 17-acre park includes a playscape, basketball court, a bocce ball court, a volleyball court, a pavilion and a trail.
6. Meadow Lake Park. 2901 Settlement Drive, Round Rock. This park includes a playscape, horseshoe pits and a 1.35-mile trail along a reservoir.
7. Play for All Abilities Park. 151 N. A.W. Grimes Blvd., Round Rock. The park has features to develop skills for children of all abilities, including a retreat pod, a sensory pod, a sand box, a playscape, swings and a mini-town.
