The Round Rock ISD board of trustees voted in August to place a
$508.4 million bond proposal on the November ballot.
All of the proposed projects were identified by the board as “critical needs” for the district. Some appeared on the voter-defeated May 2017 bond proposal and have since been altered to come with smaller price tags.
One of those projects is the reconstruction of C.D. Fulkes Middle School as a traditional middle school with similar features as other RRISD middle schools.
The rebuild would give the school a capacity of 750 students to accommodate existing student enrollment, according to the district.
As many of the campus’s iconic features as possible would be preserved.
The project would use approximately $8 million in funds from the 2014 bond.
