Following a grease fire March 4, Pflugerville restaurant
Moi Vietnamese Grill has been closed all week, owner Tru Tran said.
“We’re getting it cleaned up,” Tran said. “It was just a really unfortunate thing to happen.”
If the restaurant passes inspection March 8, Moi will reopen to the public on Monday, March 11, he said.
“We’ve gotten so much support from our community,” Tran said. “We’re really so thankful.”
A crawfish boil planned for Saturday, March 9, will still take place, he said. The event will be held in Moi’s parking lot at 6051 Dessau Road, Pflugerville, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Local vendors—including West Pecan Coffee and Sweet Shop—will sell crawfish, turkey legs, boudin balls and dessert, Tran said.
“We wanted to host a block party,” he said. “We hope people will come out and support local businesses.”
