The four contracts are for various water and wastewater projects identified in the city's recently updated water and wastewater master plan.
At $9.5 million, the largest of the four contracts is for the construction of four new pumps and other improvements at the Shiloh Pump Station, which will increase the station's capacity from 3.27 million gallons per day to 5.7 million.
Two of the contracts, coming in at $0.4 million and $0.8 million, are for purchase of an emergency generator and six pumps that will be used in eventual upgrades to the Frame Switch Pump Station.
The final contract is a $1.3 million order for engineering and design work on an expansion of the South Wastewater Treatment Plant, which will triple the plant's capacity from 2 million to 6 million gallons per day.
The funding for all four contracts would come from certificates of obligation issued last year.
