The Chris Kelley Foundation will host its sixth annual Chris Kelley Memorial 5K on June 26 at Fritz Park in Hutto.

On-site registration will start at 7:30 a.m. on race day with an 8:30 a.m. time for runners and 9:30 a.m. time for walkers. Registration is $25 for adults and $15 for children 18 years old and younger. Participants can also register online.

The foundation was formed in 2017 in honor of Detective Sgt. Chris Kelley, an Air Force veteran and Hutto Police Department officer, who was killed in the line of duty on June 24, 2015, in Hutto. The 5K is a community event that raises funds for organizations that support families of fallen public safety officers.
