Pflugerville trash and recycling service provider Waste Connections announced April 1 it is experiencing higher volumes of curbside pickup, which is leading to service delays.

Trash and recyclables not picked up by the end of customers' traditional trash days will be collected the following day, per an April 1 city news release.

"The combined effects an increase in residents working from home from years’ past, severe winter weather conditions in February, and the dawn of Spring season are leading to unprecedented volumes of solid waste placed at the curb within the City of Pflugerville," Waste Connections said in a statement.
