Owner Nickole Gann opened the store as an all-in-one location for tennis enthusiasts to pick up rackets, shoes, clothing and accessories. Uptown Tennis will additionally provide racket stringing services for customers.
In an Aug. 26 news release, Gann said Uptown Tennis will host community events in the future.
“This is a dream come true for me. I love meeting the players and talking tennis while they shop. I felt like there was a huge need for a tennis store in North Austin where people can shop local and try on shoes and clothes,” Gann said in the news release. “I look forward to hosting events to support the growth of players in the future.”
